Factor Bioscience
Claire Aibel is currently an Associate Scientist at Factor Bioscience Inc. since July 2022. Aibel previously served as an Undergraduate Researcher at Brown University from March 2021 to May 2022, leading a project focused on optimizing a microfluidics-based screening assay to detect aberrant CpG methylation in genes related to breast cancer. Additional experience includes a role as a Veterinary Technician Assistant, where responsibilities involved assisting with large animal surgeries and post-operative care, and internships at The RNA Institute and the New York State Department of Health, where Aibel worked on computational biophysics and microbiology projects, respectively. Aibel also served as a Physics Teaching Assistant at Brown University’s Department of Physics from January 2020 to May 2020. Aibel holds a Bachelor of Science in Biophysics from Brown University, completed in 2022, following attendance at Saratoga Springs High School from 2014 to 2018.
