Bryan Willson

Co-Founder and Board of Directors at Factor[e] Ventures

Bryan Willson began their work experience in 1988 when they were appointed the Bryan Willson Presidential Chair in Energy Innovation, Executive Director of the CSU Energy Institute, and Professor and Director at Colorado State University. In 1992 they became the Founding Director of the CSU Engines & Energy Conversion Lab. In 2006 they were appointed Director of the CSU Clean Energy Supercluster and Co-Founder of Solix BioSystems. In 2007 they were appointed Chief Scientific Officer of Cenergy, and in 2012 they became Program Director at ARPA-E. In 2013 they became Co-Founder and Board of Directors of Factor[e] Ventures and Co-Founder and Board of Directors of Envirofit International.

Bryan Willson received their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1982. Bryan then went on to receive their Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 1985. Bryan concluded their education with a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 1988.
