Lucas Lappe

Lucas Lappe has held various positions in the product design and engineering industry since 2009. Lucas's first role was an Engineering Intern at D2M in 2009, where they worked alongside electrical, mechanical engineers, and industrial designers in the development of a broad range of products. In 2011, they held a Technology and Concept Acquisition Co-Op position at Hasbro. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Design Engineering at Quirky.com and a Cheese Lover at Fondoodler. In 2016, they became a Product at GOBY (www.goby.co). In 2017, they were Co-Founder and Head of Product at Doris Dev. In 2020, they assumed the same role at Canopy (@get.canopy). Most recently, in 2021, they became Co-Founder at Factored Quality.

Lucas Lappe earned a BS in Product Design and Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 2009 and 2013. In 2012, they were a student in Product Design and Computer Science at Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
