David Salazar

David Salazar has a diverse work experience. In 2020, they were a Technical Lead at Factored and a Machine Learning Engineer in Training. David also developed an end-to-end Machine Learning Solution to create an NLP assistant that helps users write better questions in online forums. Additionally, they worked as a Quality Analysis at Yuxi Global. In 2018, they were a Data Scientist, where they were involved in a research project studying the mathematical properties and real-life consequences of dealing with fat-tailed variables for construction companies, as well as helping healthcare companies to set up pipelines to collect, analyze and visualize patient outreach campaigns. In 2017, they were an Intern at Alkanza, a fintech start-up with offices in both Bogota and California, where they worked in the data-science and mathematical finance areas, and developed and scored the company's equity models.

David Salazar obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes in 2017.
