Gregory Joseph Olivo Cantillo has held various positions in their professional career. In 2009, they began as a Practicante at Cementos Argos. In 2010, they moved to TEBSA as a Practicante. In 2021, they began working at Multiplica as a Data Analyst, where they performed data wrangling on datasets, queried large datasets on BigQuery, and created and supported dashboards on Data Studio and Power BI. Gregory Joseph also began working at Factored as a Data Engineer Trainee and later as a Data Engineer, where they developed a pipeline to extract data from RDS and S3 to create a dimensional model in Redshift, developed an end-to-end automated report generation app, and developed a pipeline to extract data from S3, load it into Redshift, and transform it (ELT) using Apache Airflow.
Gregory Joseph Olivo Cantillo obtained a Técnico Electromecánico from ITSA in 2009, followed by a Tecnólogo Electromecánico in 2011, and an Ingeniero Mecatrónico in 2013. Gregory Joseph then went on to obtain certifications from Astronomer, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Matillion, Databricks, Snowflake, Udacity, and Coursera from 2020-2022, including a Data Engineering Nanodegree from Udacity in December 2021 and a DS4A COLOMBIA 3.0 from Correlation One in November 2020.
