Sheng-Lun Liao

Sheng-Lun Liao is a highly experienced scientist currently serving as a Staff Scientist at Factorial Energy since May 2023, following roles as a Senior Simulation Engineer. Prior to that, Sheng-Lun worked at Stanford University as a Postdoctoral Scholar and Visiting Scholar, specializing in molecular dynamics simulations, density functional theory (DFT), and materials for lithium metal batteries. Other notable positions include Deputy Manager and Deputy Project Manager at GGA Corp., where responsibilities involved implementing product strategies and scientific consulting, as well as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Chung Yuan Christian University. Sheng-Lun has also contributed to research at National Taiwan University as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Student in Physics, and has collaborated with Princeton University as a Visiting Student Research Collaborator. Educational qualifications include a PhD, MS, and BS in Physics from National Taiwan University.
