Juan Carlos Herrera

Juan Carlos Herrera began their career in 2014 as a Software Engineer at Hydrocontrol Industrial, where they managed remote administration for support in other states and developed an all-in-one installation package for their software needs. In 2016, they joined Level 3 Communications as a Software Engineer, where they developed a migration tool in Java to transfer data from Apache SOLR to Splunk, built and scheduled Bash scripts for Hadoop servers, and performed Big Data Analytics with Hadoop. In 2017, they joined SENSAI - Empower Success as Head of Product and Chief Product Officer, where they managed a team of 18 developers, designers and quality assurance engineers, focused on engineering, design and quality in order to achieve product objectives set by the new venture board, and applied user-centered design thinking to their software-based products. In 2018, they co-founded Factoro.

Juan Carlos Herrera attended the American School Foundation of Monterrey from 1998 to 2013, where they earned their High School Diploma. Juan Carlos then attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Economics.
