Chem Swift has a diverse work experience in various companies. They started their career as a Director of Interactive at the United States Bowling Congress, where they were responsible for the front-end development of BOWL.com. They then joined Motorola Mobility as a Software Developer, working on the next version of Verizon Fios User Interface. After that, Chem Swift joined RenWeb as a Software Developer and later became the Director of Software Development. They were involved in iOS and Android development for RenWeb's mobile products as well as HTML5 mobile web app development. Chem Swift then worked at FACTS | RenWeb as an IT Director, where they provided technical due diligence during mergers and acquisitions and were responsible for moving applications to the Azure Cloud. Currently, Chem Swift is the Director of Product, New Ventures at Nelnet.
Chem Swift attended Oklahoma Wesleyan University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. They also received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Oklahoma Wesleyan University. In September 2018, Chem Swift obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from Scrum Alliance®.
