Matt Lavallee

Matt Lavallee is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in real-time web products and application development. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at FactSet since August 2018, Matt has successfully managed teams across multiple locations and spearheaded various projects, including the Intelligent Prospecting application. With a strong focus on performance enhancements and client support, Matt has a robust technical background that includes expertise in JavaScript and Java. Prior to their current role, Matt held several positions at FactSet, contributing to critical software solutions and client-facing applications. Additionally, Matt has experience from Sikorsky and internships at Capital IQ and General Electric Healthcare, further diversifying a skill set anchored in engineering and development. Matt holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science with additional studies in Human Factors Psychology and Cognitive Psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
