Mauricio Elí López

Mauricio Elí López is an experienced professional in the fields of communication, fact-checking, and cultural promotion. Currently serving as the Latin America Engagement Coordinator at The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project since August 2024, López also holds the position of Director General at Mexicana de Arte, focusing on artistic dissemination through journalism and cultural production with a commitment to diversity and gender agendas. Past roles include fact-checking at FACTSTORY Agency and Animal Político, as well as content verification for AFP. Additional experience encompasses public relations, social media management, and digital content development across various organizations, including roles in arts and culture. Mauricio Elí López graduated from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 2015 with a degree in Arts from the Escuela Nacional Preparatoria.
