Dominique Pateron

Dominique Pateron is a professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Sorbonne University. Specialised in emergency medicine, he is head of the emergency department at the Saint-Antoine hospital and head of the Emergency-Avalanche unit at the University Hospitals of Eastern Paris Group.

After having been assistant registrar at the Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP), he was appointed university professor - hospital practitioner (PU-PH) at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Paris XIII in 2000 and then at Pierre and Marie Curie University in 2006. He was President of the French Society of Emergency Medicine (2010-2011) and has been President of the Professional College of Emergency Medicine since 2015.

He is a member of CNU subsection 4805 of Emergency Medicine.
