Buddhika Wijerathne

Buddhika Wijerathne is a General Practitioner at Dubbo Medical and Allied Health Group since March 2022, with previous experience at Ropes Crossing Medical Practice and GB MedCare Medical Centre. An active Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health and a member of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Buddhika has also contributed as a Mendeley Advisor and F1000 Specialist. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Health from Euclid University, a Diploma in Paediatrics from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine Ragama. Prior roles include a Clinical Observer in Emergency Medicine at South Western Sydney Local Health District and a Lecturer in Community Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Sciences. Volunteer service includes overseeing the Student Health Center.
