Adam McKinlay

Adam McKinlay is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Advocate at Axiom Advocates since June 2018 and as a Devil at the Faculty of Advocates since October 2017. In addition, Adam has been a Tutor at the University of Edinburgh since September 2007, specializing in Civil Court Practice for the Diploma in Legal Practice and previously teaching various undergraduate subjects, including Contract Law. Prior experience includes working as a Solicitor in the Insurance Litigation team at Brodies LLP from July 2008 to September 2017, coaching the Scottish Schools Debating Team from April 2009 to February 2013, and a brief tenure as Trainee Legal Counsel during a secondment at the Royal Bank of Scotland in 2009. Adam's educational background includes a law degree from The University of Edinburgh, completed from 2003 to 2008, following attendance at Stewart's Melville College from 1997 to 2003.
