Faculty of Advocates
Frank Burr is an experienced legal professional and educator, currently serving as an Advocate at the Faculty of Advocates since July 2006. Frank has held various academic positions at the University of Stirling, including roles as a Lecturer from September 2023 to June 2024 and from January 2018 to August 2018, as well as a Teaching Assistant from 2007 to 2012. Prior to these roles, Frank worked as a Solicitor at Kerr & Co from April 1995 to April 2005 and completed a traineeship at W & J Burness from 1993 to 1995. Frank holds a Master of Science in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Glasgow, as well as a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Philosophy from the University of Stirling.
