Muhammad Akmal Farouqi

Muhammad Akmal Farouqi is an experienced professional in the fields of economics and research, currently serving as Economic Development Support at the National Secretariat of SDGs Implementation within the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas Republic of Indonesia and as a Research Assistant at the Center for Health Financing Policy and Health Insurance Management at Universitas Gadjah Mada. Additionally, Muhammad holds multiple roles at the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM, including Undergraduate Assistant at The Center for Macroeconomic Dashboard and Teaching Assistant, alongside being part of the founding team of Gama Working Paper Series Economics UGM. Previous experience includes positions as Creative Director at Kudata and various analytical roles in budget, business intelligence, and capital markets at Kementerian Keuangan Republik Indonesia, PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk, and Otoritas Jasa Keuangan. Muhammad Akmal Farouqi earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universitas Gadjah Mada during the period of 2019 to 2023.
