Geoffrey Roberts

Geoffrey Roberts is a Consultant Emergency General and Upper GI Surgeon at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since September 2023 and serves as an Associate Fellow at the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management. Previously, Geoffrey held the position of Senior Clinical Fellow in Upper GI Surgery and ST8 Upper GI surgery at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from October 2021 to September 2023. Additional experience includes roles as a Specialist Registrar ST7 at Mid Essex Hospitals, General and UGI Surgeon in training at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, and General Surgeon in training at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Geoffrey's early surgical experience includes positions as a Locum Registrar in Colorectal and General Surgery at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, Assistant Surgeon in a rural hospital in Zambia, and Core Surgical Trainee in General Surgery at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Cambridge and a BM BCh in Medicine from the University of Oxford.
