Ryan J. Piela

Ryan J. Piela is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation and venture capital across various industries. Currently serving as Executive Director at both New Incubation Ventures and The Estée Lauder Companies since March 2021, Ryan also holds positions as an investor at Vyrao and a board observer at Haeckels. In addition, Ryan serves as Chief Innovation Officer at Latent Knowledge and has played a mentorship role at WEVE Acceleration from August 2021 to June 2023. Prior roles include Entrepreneur In Residence at Starta Ventures, Associate Director of Corporate Innovation at XRC Labs, and Venture Fellow at Alumni Ventures Group. Earlier experience includes a position as Senior Digital Strategy Consultant at IBM, where strategic initiatives focused on enhancing competitiveness for Fortune 500 companies. Ryan J. Piela holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a B.A. in Politics from Whitman College.
