Anand Parikh

CEO & Co-Founder at Faeth Therapeutics

Anand Parikh is the CEO and Co-Founder of Faeth Therapeutics. Anand has also worked as a Senate Fellow and as a Clerk for Chief Judge Gerald Rosen. Prior to their work at Virta Health, they were the Head of Finance, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary.

Parikh has a long history of working in policy and government. Anand got their start as a Senate Fellow, working on bills, proposing policy ideas, and doing general legislative work. Anand later went on to work as a Clerk for Chief Judge Gerald Rosen. In this role, they were responsible for staffing bills and proposals, as well as working on landmark legislation.

In 2015, Parikh joined Virta Health as the Head of Finance, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary. In this role, they led the finance, legal, business development, people operations, and regulatory functions for the company. Anand was also responsible for acting as the sales executive for Virta's two largest customer agreements and their partnership with the VHA.

Under Parikh's leadership, Virta has become a leading online specialty medical clinic that reverses type 2 diabetes safely and sustainably. Their mission is to reverse type 2 diabetes in 100 million people by 2025.

Anand Parikh attended the Haberdashers' Aske's school before going on to study political science and biology at the University of Michigan. Anand then attended law school at New York University.
