Domen Kampjut has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Domen began as Co-President of the Cambridge University Biological Society in 2014. Domen then worked as a Summer Research Student at the MRC - Mitochondrial Biology Unit in 2015, followed by a Summer Research Intern at ACIES BIO Ltd. in the same year. In 2015, they began their BA Thesis at the University of Cambridge. Domen then completed their Masters Student role at the MRC Mitochondrial Biology Unit in 2016, followed by a PhD Student role at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria. In 2020, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB), and in 2021, they became a Junior Research Fellow at Christ's College Cambridge. Most recently, they are a Scientist at Faeth Therapeutics, a role they began in 2022.
Domen Kampjut received their International Baccalaureate Diploma from Gimnazija Bežigrad in 2008-2012. Domen then obtained an M.Sci. in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge in 2012-2016. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD from the Institute of Science and Technology Austria in 2016-2020.
