John Guthrie

John Guthrie is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the horticulture and agricultural sectors. Currently serving as the National Sales Manager at Sun Gro Horticulture since May 2019, John previously held the position of Regional Sales Manager within the same company. Prior to that, John worked as a Key Account Manager at SBM LifeScience from October 2016 to May 2019 and spent a decade at Bayer Crop Science as a Technical Sales Representative with a focus on key retail accounts. John's career in sales began at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, where John worked as a Sales Manager from October 2000 to January 2006. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Services & Development from Tarleton State University, earned between 1989 and 1994.
