James Yagley

James Yagley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and consulting roles across various sectors. As the Founder and CEO of Fafnir, James is dedicated to applying data science in fintech to assist underserved consumers and small businesses. James also serves as an Advisor at Black Pearl Consulting and Research, LLC, where expertise is provided in international development and project management. Additionally, James founded Eponymous Press to publish global literature and The Yagley Consultancy for confidential advisory services. Previous roles include Senior Community Affairs Specialist at the FDIC, where contributions were made to financial inclusion initiatives, and Associate Manager of CDFI Programs at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, overseeing significant grantmaking efforts. Earlier career experiences include positions at the Housing Assistance Council and the Equal Rights Center, focusing on project management and civil rights advocacy. Education includes a BA in Political Science from Michigan State University and an MA in Anthropology from Binghamton University.
