David Young

David Young, CPA, MBA has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. David is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Finance at Fagron since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked at ATX Partners as the Managing Partner starting from June 2016.

From October 2018 to May 2020, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Mockingbird Pharma, where they focused on providing value to independent pharmacies. David also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Nobilis Health Corp. from January 2017 to September 2018.

During their tenure at St. Jude Medical from September 2011 to May 2016, they served as the Sr. Vice President of Finance, overseeing financial operations for the Americas region.

From September 2006 to September 2011, they worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific as the VP of Finance. Prior to that, they held various finance roles at Cardinal Health, including Vice President of Finance, where they led the implementation of company-wide reorganization and major system implementation.

David began their career at Halliburton as a Supervisor of Accounting and SEC Reporting from 1998 to 1999. Overall, David Young has demonstrated expertise in financial management and leadership in the healthcare and life sciences industries.

David Young, CPA, MBA attended Centenary College of Louisiana from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business. David later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The University of Texas at Austin and Texas McCombs School of Business from 2002 to 2004, with a focus on Accounting and Business Administration. In 1991, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
