Paul Kelly

Paul Kelly is the current CEO at Fáilte Ireland. Prior to this, they were the Strategic Marketing Director at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School from April 2016 to January 2017. In this role, they were responsible for developing a brand and marketing strategy for the UCD College of Business, both domestically and internationally, in order to support the college's vision of becoming one of the top 50 business schools in the world.

Before their role at UCD, Kelly was the Managing Director at Growth Drivers Consultancy LTD from January 2013 to April 2016. During their time there, they completed a strategic review and co-ordinated/developed a 2014 plan for a leading financial services provider in Ireland. Paul also completed a strategic review and developed & implemented a new marketing strategy and plan for a leading private healthcare provider in Ireland. In addition, Kelly developed a major new innovation in the food & beverage sector for launch in the US for a leading Irish food exporter.

From February 2012 to January 2013, Kelly worked as an independent marketing & business consultant. Prior to that, they served as the Marketing Director Europe & Middle East at Aviva from January 2010 to December 2011.

Paul Kelly was educated at St Peters College Wexford where they studied mathematics, business and economics. Paul then went on to study entrepreneurship, marketing and strategy at University College Dublin where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree.
