Jan Mulder

Jan Mulder is an accomplished sustainability manager with extensive experience in the furniture and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Sustainability Manager for Fair Furniture Group since October 2020, Jan is instrumental in promoting sustainable and circular furniture solutions made in the Netherlands. Previously, Jan held the same position at Green Furniture Circle, where initiatives focused on creating new furnishings from existing waste materials. Jan's career includes leadership roles such as Manager Operations at Vepa the furniture factory and Vice Director at Brink, where a strong emphasis was placed on quality and sustainable environments. With a background in purchasing and operations management spanning nearly three decades, Jan has developed a robust skill set complemented by academic qualifications in business management and responsive manufacturing methodologies.
