Nate Deakers

Nate Deakers is a software engineer who is currently employed at Fair Square Medicare. Nate has also worked as a software engineer intern at Foqal and as a biologist and project manager at Olofson Environmental, Inc. Prior to that, they were a research technician at NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration.

Nate has a wealth of experience in developing front-end features for web applications, as well as in overhauling and scaling existing GraphQL APIs. Nate is also skilled in client-side routing, responsive design, and in expanding test coverage for new features. In their previous roles, they have demonstrated their ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Nate is a highly motivated individual who is always looking for new challenges. Nate is passionate about using technology to improve the lives of others and is committed to making a positive impact on the world around him.

Nate Deakers has a degree in Full Stack Web Development from Rithm School and a degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from University of California, Santa Cruz.
