Nikita Chandra

Nikita Chandra has extensive work experience in various roles related to certification operations and customer support. Nikita started their career at Tata Consultancy Services as an Assistant Systems Engineer Trainee, where they worked on projects for Bank of America. Nikita then joined Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH as a Research Intern, focusing on climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction. After that, they worked at United Nations University as a Researcher, before joining Fair Trade USA. At Fair Trade USA, Nikita has held multiple positions, including Certification and Impact Assistant, Certification Specialist, Certification Manager, Senior Certification Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Certification Operations and Customer Support. Their work at Fair Trade USA has involved managing and overseeing certification processes as well as providing customer support.

Nikita Chandra has a solid educational background. Nikita pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. Nikita attended from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they enrolled in the University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained an MS degree in Bioengineering. Their time at the university spanned from 2011 to 2013. Later, they embarked on a joint program between MINES ParisTech and Tsinghua University and completed their Master's degree in Environmental Engineering and Management, commencing in 2012 and ending in 2014.
