Michelle Peat is an experienced mediator and facilitator with expertise in family dispute resolution, restorative justice, and patient advocacy. Currently serving as a Family Mediator at FairWay Resolution Limited since May 2014, Michelle is focused on supporting families during and after separation. As a Qualified Mediator at Forward Mediation since January 2012, Michelle specializes in family, community, and workplace mediation, assisting parents in reaching agreements regarding child care and contact arrangements. Previous roles include serving as a Restorative Justice Facilitator at the Restorative Justice Trust from January 2013 to November 2019, and as a Patient Advocate at Heath Consumer Service from November 2009 to November 2015. Additionally, Michelle worked as a Transport Coordinator for the Cancer Society from June 2007 to June 2013, facilitating transportation for individuals to cancer-related appointments. Michelle holds a Graduate Diploma of Dispute Resolution from The University of Waikato.
