Georg Bauer

Georg Bauer is the current Director at Fair. Georg has also been the Co-Founder of Fair.com from September 2016 to December 2020. Prior to that, they were the Financial Services Leader, EU & APAC at Tesla Motors from December 2013 to September 2016.

Bauer's long and successful career in finance began at Citibank where they worked as a Corporate Finance Manager from January 1972 to December 1977. Georg then joined Daimler-Benz AG as the Director of Financial Services and Chief Financial Officer of Freightliner Credit. In 1999, they were appointed to the Board of Daimler Financial Services where they served until 2003. Following that, they became the CEO of Mercedes-Benz Credit Corporation in the USA until 1998. In 2004, Bauer was appointed CEO of BMW Group's Global Financial Services and held that position until 2011. Georg's most recent role was at Tesla Motors where they served as the Financial Services Leader for EU & APAC from 2013 to 2016. Georg Bauer has been influential in the finance industry for many years and continues to be a leader in the field today.
