Mustapha Mohammed Yorda has a diverse work experience. In 2008, they worked as an Assistant Account Office at Electricity Company of Ghana Limited for six months. From 2008 to 2011, they served as an MRW Operator at National Identification Authority. In 2012, they worked as an Accounting Teacher at Accra Girls Senior High School for a year. Mustapha then joined Trashy Bags Project in 2007 as an Accounts Clerk and stayed there until 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Financial Officer at Ghana Free Zones Board. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at fairafric, the largest producer of Organic Chocolate in Ghana, where they focus on poverty alleviation in the Cocoa value chain and chocolate school activities.

Mustapha Mohammed Yorda holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, which they completed in 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from the Islamic University College, Ghana, between 2009 and 2013. Mustapha also holds a Diploma in Business Studies with a focus on Accounting from the University of Professional Studies, Accra, which they obtained from 2005 to 2007.
