Hailey Chacon is an experienced professional in youth empowerment and mental health advocacy, currently serving as a Youth Empowerment Specialist at Fairbanks Youth Advocates. With a background as a Youth Coordinator at Fairbanks Native Association since February 2017, Hailey Chacon focuses on increasing access to behavioral and mental health care for young individuals aged 10-25 and promotes youth engagement through the development of a culturally specific, youth-led council and local drop-in center. Prior to this role, Hailey Chacon worked as a Birch Park Special Programs Collaborator at the Literacy Council of Alaska in 2016. Hailey Chacon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, earned between 2009 and 2016.
