Li Tian

Li Tian is a data scientist with a diverse background in machine learning and data analysis. Currently employed at Faire since March 2024, Li Tian focuses on enhancing search relevance through techniques such as query understanding and large language models. Previous experience includes working at the Immigration Policy Lab to address health impacts of climate conditions on tribal communities, and as a machine learning researcher at Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, where computer vision models for satellite imagery were developed. Li Tian has also held roles at Inditex, Roblox, and The D. E. Shaw Group, where a blend of analytical and applied scientific skills were utilized. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Statistics with a focus on Data Science from Stanford University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Astrophysics, Mathematics, and Art History from Swarthmore College.
