Brenda Silvia-Torma

Brenda Silvia-Torma, M.Ed., CHES, serves as an Instructional Assistant in the Secondary Transition to Employment Program at Fairfax County Public Schools while also acting as a COVID-19 Case Manager and holding leadership roles on the FCPS School Health Advisory Committee. Brenda is a Health Educator 3 with Inova Health System, focusing on cardiovascular health screenings. Additional roles include volunteering as Co-Chair for the Advocacy Committee of the Society for Public Health Education and engaging with community initiatives related to child care and public health. Brenda’s prior experience encompasses positions at the Allergy & Asthma Network, American Cancer Society, and JBS International, where project management and community health education were key focuses. Brenda holds a Master of Education in Health Education and has certifications in nutrition sciences.
