Heather Springs

Heather Springs, MPA, AICP, CFM, currently serves as Planner III for Berkeley County (SC) Government since March 2021, with previous experience as a Senior Planner and Planner. Prior to this role, Heather held positions as Business License Official and Permit Administrator, and Business License and Permit Clerk at the City of Folly Beach from December 2019 to March 2021, as well as Administrative Assistant for the Town of Seabrook Island from November 2017 to December 2019. Earlier experience includes customer service roles at Palmetto Exterminators and Mosquito Control, sales associate at Lilly Pulitzer, and marketing intern at ARAMARK Higher Education. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from the College of Charleston (2018-2020) and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the same institution (2013-2016).
