Sarah Hanna

Sarah Hanna is an experienced engineer with a focus on water systems and infrastructure. Since February 2020, Sarah has been working at Fairfax Water, conducting preliminary engineering studies and hydraulic analyses to evaluate system improvements, while also supporting the maintenance of the hydraulic model. Prior to this role, Sarah served as a Project Design Engineer at McKissack & McKissack, where responsibilities included planning, designing, and managing DC Water's transmission and distribution systems. Sarah's earlier experience as a Civil Associate at Michael Baker International involved designing and managing water and wastewater distribution systems, where tasks included developing construction plans and conducting field observations. Sarah earned a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech.
