Thomas Franklin

Senior Vice President, Vessel Operations at Fairfield Chemical Carriers

Thomas Franklin has over 20 years of work experience in the maritime industry. Thomas started their career in 2000 as a Deck Officer at Crowley Maritime, where they served on the SS Blue Ridge until 2004. In 2004, they joined Fairfield Chemical Carriers, initially working in operations before progressing to Operations Manager in 2006. Thomas further advanced in the company and became Vice President of Operations in 2012. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President of Vessel Operations at Fairfield Chemical Carriers.

Thomas Franklin began their education in 1995 at the State University of New York Maritime College. Thomas pursued a Bachelor's degree in Marine Transportation, completing their studies in 1999. In 2023, they furthered their education at Wharton Executive Education, where they completed the General Management Program (GMP) in 2025.
