Courtney LeBorious has a diverse and extensive work experience. Courtney most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Fairfield Public Schools since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Finance and Operations at Danbury Public Schools from November 2019 to July 2021. Courtney also held the position of Executive Director of Finance and Business Operations at Hunter College from April 2018 to November 2019.

Before transitioning to the education sector, Courtney gained valuable experience in government organizations. Courtney worked at the NYC Administration for Children Services as an Assistant Commissioner from November 2014 to March 2018, and as the Executive Budget Director from May 2013 to November 2014. Courtney also held a leadership role as the Unit Head, Social Services Task Force at the New York City Mayor's Office of Management and Budget from August 2010 to May 2013.

Courtney's early career included roles at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as the Deputy Director of Finance from October 2008 to August 2010, and at the New York City Mayor's Office of Management and Budget as a Supervising Analyst from September 2005 to October 2008. Courtney began their professional journey as a Graduate Intern at the New York Metropolitan Transportation Council in September 2004.

Additionally, Courtney briefly worked as a Consultant at Pratt Institute in 2004.

Courtney LeBorious holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from American University, which was completed in 1999. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Public Administration from The New School, completing it in 2005.
