Dr. Nicole Danishevsky

Executive Director Of Math & STEM at Fairfield Public Schools

Dr. Nicole Danishevsky has a vast amount of experience in the field of education, particularly in mathematics and professional development. Dr. Nicole began their career as a Math Teacher at Fairfield Board of Education in 1998, where they taught seventh grade math and took on a leadership role within the school. In 2005, they joined North Haven Board of Education as a Mathematics Coordinator, supervising the 6-12 math department and working collaboratively with other coordinators. Dr. Nicole then moved on to West Haven Board of Education in 2012, where they served as the Mathematics and Professional Development Coordinator, responsible for supervising the K-12 Mathematics program and providing embedded professional development and support to teachers. Currently, Dr. Danishevsky is the Executive Director of Math & STEM at Fairfield Public Schools, a role they started in 2023.

Dr. Nicole Danishevsky holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, which they obtained from Southern Connecticut State University. Dr. Nicole completed their doctoral studies from 2004 to 2007. Prior to their doctoral studies, Dr. Danishevsky pursued a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching at Southern Connecticut State University from 1999 to 2002. Dr. Nicole began their academic journey at Goucher College, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, studying from 1993 to 1997.
