Michael J. Testani

Michael Testani has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as the Superintendent of Fairfield Public Schools since November 2022. Prior to this role, Testani was the Superintendent of Bridgeport Public Schools for nearly two decades, where responsibilities included overseeing various educational programs and serving in multiple administrative capacities such as Director of Adult and Continuing Education and Family and Community Engagement, Central Office Administrator, and Assistant Principal. Earlier in Michael Testani's career, roles included School Counselor in both Norwalk and Bridgeport Public Schools. Testani holds a Superintendent's Certificate from Central Connecticut State University, a Sixth Year degree in Educational Leadership from Southern Connecticut State University, a Master of Education in Elementary Education and School Counseling from the University of Bridgeport, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from the same institution.
