Debbie Whalley

Debbie Whalley has over two decades of experience in academic technology and support, currently serving as the Managing Director of Academic Systems & Technology at Fairfield University since January 2002. In this role, Debbie consults with instructors on pedagogy, course design, technology integration, and assessment practices through the Center for Academic Excellence. Previous positions at Fairfield University include Senior Instructional Technologist and Assessment Manager, Manager of Academic Computing, and Faculty Support Coordinator, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of help desks, computer technicians, and faculty support. Before joining Fairfield University, Debbie worked in technical support at FontHaus from March 1995 to November 2001. Debbie holds a B.S. in Physics from Fairfield University, graduating in 1994.
