Tara Mitchell

Tara Mitchell is an experienced higher education professional with a strong background in enrollment management. Currently serving as Executive Director of Enrollment Management at Fairfield University since July 2015, Tara has successfully operationalized enrollment strategies and collaborated with various campus stakeholders to enhance reporting tools that inform admission decisions. Previous roles at Fairfield University include Associate Director of Enrollment Systems and Analytics, where responsibilities included building applicant reports and coordinating the undergraduate application process, and Associate Director of Reading & Special Populations, overseeing the review of thousands of applications. Prior to returning to Fairfield University, Tara worked at St. Luke's School as Associate Director of College Counseling, coordinating college application processes and organizing college introduction trips. Tara holds a Master of Arts in Special Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Fairfield University.
