Huw Blackwell

Huw Blackwell is an experienced professional in energy efficiency and sustainable systems, currently serving as an Associate at FairHeat since June 2024. Prior to this role, Huw was associated with the Anthesis Group as a Principal Associate from October 2017 to February 2024, specializing in Energy Efficient Low Temperature Wet distribution systems for various heating applications. Huw's prior roles include Decentralised Energy Project Officer at Islington Council, where responsibilities included managing the Bunhill District Energy System, and Executive Sustainability Consultant at Hoare Lea, focusing on energy efficiency and low carbon systems design. Huw also gained early experience as an Assistant Package Manager at Bovis Lend Lease, overseeing M&E installations on major commercial projects. Huw holds a degree in General Engineering with a focus on new and renewable systems from Durham University and furthered education at Imperial College London.
