Dina Schipper is the Executive Director of Communications & News at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Dina has over 20 years of experience in public relations and has been with Fairleigh Dickinson since 2009.

Schipper began their career in public relations at Liberty Science Center in 1999, where they served as Media Relations Director. In this role, they were in charge of Communications program at NYC metro area’s largest science museum providing innovative and creative Public Relations strategies surrounding traveling and permanent exhibitions, IMAX movies, and educational programs, as well large-scale corporate events. Dina also trained executive and front-line staff in appropriate messaging when interacting with media personnel and orchestrated and arranged interviews, tours, and large-scale media shoots.

During their time at Liberty Science Center, Schipper spearhead the publicity campaign for the 2007 re-opening of the Center after a $109 million expansion. The campaign was recognized with the PRSA’s 2008 Pyramid Award. Dina also generated over 50M print media impressions throughout the region, the nation, and globally, as well as millions of addition impressions from TV, radio, and the Internet. Achieved 8 placements in The New York Times, and 15 placements in the Star-Ledger, as well as in The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Parents Magazine, the New York Post, and Family Circle.

Schipper also boosted the Center’s awareness level from 74% in 2006 to 98% in

Dina Schipper earned their BA in Communications from the University of Lynchburg.
