Robert Pignatello

Robert Pignatello is an accomplished higher education leader with extensive experience in university operations and strategic initiatives. Currently serving as Senior Vice President for Government Affairs/Community Relations and Strategic Initiatives, as well as Senior Vice President for University Operations at Fairleigh Dickinson University since June 2021, Pignatello previously held the position of Senior Advisor to the Chancellor for University Integration Strategy at Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education from February to June 2021. Between July 2018 and February 2021, Pignatello was the President of Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. Additional roles include Senior Vice President for Finance & Administration and Chief Operating Officer at Hunter College from February 2016 to July 2018, and Senior Vice President at John Jay College from 1998 to February 2016. Pignatello holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership-Higher Education from Saint Peter's University and has earned a Master’s in Public Administration from Rutgers University - Newark, along with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Government from Montclair State University.
