Lecturer In Criminology & Criminal Justice at Fairleigh Dickinson University

Tiffany Bergin, PhD, currently serves as a Lecturer in Criminology & Criminal Justice at Fairleigh Dickinson University, beginning in August 2025. Previously, Tiffany held the position of Deputy Division Director, Research at the CSG Justice Center from July 2024 to May 2025, and served as the Executive Director of Research & Evidence-Based Practice at the New York City Criminal Justice Agency from September 2017 to June 2024, where Tiffany led a diverse team focused on research and evaluation in criminal justice. Additional roles include various directorial and analytical positions within the Kent State University and the University of Cambridge, where Tiffany contributed to curriculum development and research training. Tiffany’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University and both a PhD and an MPhil in Criminology from the University of Cambridge. A publication of note is Tiffany’s book, "The Evidence Enigma," which addresses the interplay between research evidence and criminal justice policymaking.
