David van Bruwaene

David Van Bruwaene is the Co-Founder and CEO at Fairly AI, a company that accelerates organizational growth through the responsible adoption of AI. Previously, David served as a Director at SafeToNet Ltd and as the CEO of Visr, which was later acquired by SafeToNet. With a background in philosophy and cognitive science, David has taught courses at University of Waterloo and Cornell University. As a Lead Data Scientist, he developed machine learning algorithms for social media session classification, specializing in children's behavioral states and mental health insights. He holds a Master's degree in Philosophy and has pursued a Doctor of Philosophy at Cornell University with a minor in Cognitive Science.
