Karen Yesayan

Karen Yesayan has a diverse work experience in the field of IT operations and network engineering. Karen is currently working at Fairmarkit as an IT Operations Manager since November 2022. Prior to this, Karen held the role of IT Operations Administrator at Fairmarkit starting from January 2021.

Before joining Fairmarkit, Karen worked at Aarki as a Senior Network Engineer from July 2017 to January 2023. Their responsibilities included architecting, deploying, and maintaining the networking infrastructure in multiple data centers. Karen also worked on migrating the networking architecture and deploying firewall clusters and VPN networks.

Karen also has experience as the Founder & CEO of Checkitto LLC from August 2016 to January 2021. Additionally, they worked at Northwoods Connect as a Senior Network Engineer from January 2016 to December 2020, where they were involved in designing, implementing, and supporting ISP wireless networks. Karen has worked with various networking equipment and technologies.

Prior to joining Northwoods Connect, Karen worked at Ekovolt Telco Limited as a Senior Network Engineer from January 2015 to December 2020. Their responsibilities included designing, implementing, and supporting ISP networks, integrating third-party services, and deploying cloud services.

Karen's earlier experience includes working at Hi Tech Gateway as a Senior Network Administrator from August 2013 to December 2020. Karen was responsible for designing and supporting ISP and data center networks, deploying and maintaining firewalls, and planning and migrating core network infrastructure.

Karen also worked at Royal Ambulance as a Network Security Engineer from December 2013 to March 2018 and at Apaga Technologies as a Network Engineer from January 2010 to May 2013.

Karen Yesayan began their education at School number 9 after Grigor Narekaci from 1992 to 2002. They then attended Yerevan State University from 2002 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in the Department of Radiophysics and Microelectronics with a major in Microelectronics. Following their formal education, Karen also completed Linux courses at Shirak Technologies.

In addition to their academic background, Karen has obtained several certifications. They obtained a CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification from Cisco Systems in September 2013. They also obtained a CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification from Cisco Systems in November 2010. Karen acquired the CCNP SWITCH (Cisco Certified Network Professional - Switching) certification in August 2016. Furthermore, they obtained the IPv6 Fundamentals - Analyst certification from RIPE NCC in October 2020. Most recently, in May 2022, Karen obtained the CompTIA Linux+ ce Certification from CompTIA and the Okta Certified Professional certification from Okta in September 2022.
