Lorenz Indermuehle

Lorenz Indermuehle has a strong background in humanitarian work. Lorenz began their career in 1997 as a Delegate for the ICRC, where they gained valuable experience in the field. In 1999, they joined the Schweizerisches Rotes Kreuz and held various roles, including Program Manager and later became the Head of Division for Latin America and the Caribbean. From 2014 to 2021, Lorenz served as the Head of Division for Africa and the Americas, as well as the Deputy Head of the International Department. Currently, they are working as the CEO and Geschäftsleiter for FAIRMED, where they lead the organization in its mission.

Lorenz Indermuehle completed their MSc in Development Studies at SOAS University of London from 2003 to 2004. Lorenz then pursued a CAS in Führungskompetenz at Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz, graduating in 2011 after studying from 2009 to 2011. In 2000 to 2001, Lorenz also attended ETHZ - NADEL where they completed a Nachdiplomkurs in Entwicklungsländer.
