FAIRMED ist eine Stiftung, die aus der Leprahilfe Emmaus Schweiz hervorgegangen ist. Seit 1959 verschafft sie armen Menschen einen gerechten Zugang zu Gesundheit. So unterstützen wir schon seit langer Zeit Menschen, die an verschiedenen Krankheiten leiden und verbessern zusammen mit ihnen ihre Gesundheitssituation.
Unsere Vision ist eine Welt, in der niemand mehr an Lepra und anderen armutsbedingten Krankheiten leidet und wegen Krankheit oder Behinderung diskriminiert wird.
FAIRMED konzentriert seine Mittel auf den afrikanischen und den asiatischen Kontinent. Schwerpunktregionen sind Afrika südlich der Sahara und Südasien. Schwerpunktländer sind Kamerun, die Zentralafrikanische Republik, Indien, Sri Lanka und Nepal.

The Communications and Marketing team at FAIRMED is responsible for raising awareness and promoting the organization's mission to provide equitable access to health for impoverished communities. They develop and implement marketing strategies, manage public relations efforts, coordinate fundraising initiatives, and engage with communities to support health improvement projects across Africa and Asia. This includes crafting compelling messages, managing digital and print media, and organizing events to support FAIRMED's vision of eliminating poverty-related diseases and discrimination due to illness or disability.

The Coordination and Specialist Team at FAIRMED is responsible for overseeing project implementation across focus countries, ensuring efficient project management, and effective resource allocation. They offer specialized support in gender equality, social inclusion, maternal and newborn health, and provide expertise in monitoring, evaluation, and knowledge management to ensure impactful health interventions.
