Chris Medford has a diverse work experience in the golf and curling industry. Starting in 2013, they worked as an Associate Golf Professional at Cranbrook Golf Club until 2017. Chris then became a Golf Professional at St. Eugene Golf Resort Casino, where they stayed until 2019. From 2015 to 2019, they also held the position of General Manager at the Cranbrook Curling Centre, where they managed all aspects of the curling club. In 2018, Chris served as the Commissioner of the Kootenay Pro Tour. Chris later worked as the General Manager at Royal Oaks Golf Club from 2020 to 2022. In 2022, they became the Director of Golf Operations at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort in British Columbia. Currently, Chris is the General Manager and Executive Golf Professional at Bellmere Winds Golf Resort. Additionally, they have had brief experiences in roles such as Retail Rental Supervisor at Whistler Blackcomb, Retail Manager at Bear Mountain Resort, and Director of Entertainment at Pinty's Grand Slam of Curling.
Chris Medford attended Durham College from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Professional Golf. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a certification as a Top 100 Golf Professional from the PGA of British Columbia in February 2017.
