Wilbert Flinterman brings extensive experience in labor relations and human resources, currently serving as Senior Advisor for Workers' Rights and Trade Union Relations at Fairtrade International since March 2011. Prior roles include Labour Relations Advisor at the Government of Alberta's Department of Employment and Immigration from February 2008 to March 2011, and Labour Relations Officer at the Alberta Labour Relations Board from August 2003 to February 2008. Additional experience includes work as a Human Resources Consultant for the Government of Alberta between April 2001 and July 2003, and as a Legal Officer and Strategic Human Resource Advisor at Gemeente Den Haag from 1996 to 2001. Educational qualifications encompass a Master of Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam (2009-2010), a Diploma of Education in Human Resource Studies from Tilburg University (1997-1998), and a Bachelor of Laws in Corporate Law and Labour Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam (1985-1991).
